Significance of Printed Pens

Will printed pens and all other writing materials become obsolete, as they are taken over by computers and electronic devices? Or will we never run out of uses for writing instruments? The trend today in businesses is the paper-less environment. This is a security measure that will prevent unscrupulous people from stealing documents or other printed matter. A paper-less environment also means a pen-less environment.

But what of documents that need signing like contracts and certificates. More importantly, what will happen to education if we stop using pens and other writing instruments. Writing is an integral part of education. Pens will still be very much in use for writing those compositions and solving those math problems. Pen manufacturers need not worry that they will go out of business someday.

People will always have an intimate relationship with pens. Pens are just like musical instruments, they are an extension of a person’s hand. There will always be something special about using the hands to create, to draw or to write. It is hard to think of a world without pens and other writing instruments. While businesses have reached some degree of success in phasing out papers and pens, people can never go through life without using a pen at one time or another.

Computers are here to stay and new technologies will emerge constantly but pens have been around for longer. Despite the emergence of technology that has lessened the use of pens, there are still a lot of activities and systems that can never be automized and will always be needing pens.
