Are Washable Nappies The Real Deal?

Among the topics that have seen heated debates among parents is the one about washable nappies on whether they have the most advantages as compared to diapers. Each side has its has its argument and they are willing to go to great lengths to prove it.Washable nappy has come a long way and as things appear, it will be around for years to come.

It is upon the parent to decide which method fits them based on their baby, budget and tastes. Washable nappies have evolved from the square cotton piece of clothing that they were to custom-made fitted nappies. They evolved from being made of just a few fibres to being made from a number of them combined.

Most of these modern nappies do not even require folding or pins; the Velcro strip or snaps have already been put in place to hold it. The fitted cloth nappies come in petite sizes and in multi-fits which easily fit most baby sizes.

Look at the Bamboo fitted nappy for instance. It boasts of excellent absorbency making the baby feel dry all through. The materials that go into making it are organic and no pesticides get into contact with them throughout the production process. This is a far cry from diapers which are laced with tons of chemicals which are ultimately bad for the baby’s health.

The makers of these washable nappies have also gone ahead and made night nappies that are specially designed to absorb all night wetness affording the baby uninterrupted sleep and the parents as well.
