Things to do on the Gold Coast

Your arrival for holiday in Gold Coast, Australia, should spell out the beginning of a wonderful time. As one of the top holiday destinations in the world, you ought to adjust your mind to holiday status the moment you land at the airport or other transport station. Your time here we promise is not going to be in vain and you will remember it for years to come – that is if you won’t have already relocated here permanently.

Once you get into Gold Coast, you can expect a lot of good things: jaw-dropping spectacles, mind-blowing attractions, mouth watering delicacies and of course spectacular activities that will leave your feeling like asking for permanent citizenship. But hold your horses! Your mouth is already wide open in amazement and we haven’t even tackled even a single activity that you can take part in!

Apart from the sun, sand and surf, Gold Coast has really evolved to one of the leading tourist destinations in the country with the most things for visitors to participate in. You need to start with a visit to the Q1; a visit to Queensland would be incomplete without visiting the world’s tallest residential tower. This landmark is actually the only observation deck in the country by the seaside. The landmark has spire that astounds many; 97.7 metres! This is the perfect location for you to view the entire stunning coastline unobstructed.

How about jet-boating on the serene ocean! Or jet-skiing all you want as hundreds of spectators cheer you on. This sounds like real fun, which is what you came for. If you are the adventurous type, 4WD adventure drives are available and so are surfing lessons and bungee jumping.

The best part about all these activities is that they are all found close to the many Main Beach apartments. You do not have to bother yourself by booking a bus or taxi to take you to where the action is; they are easily reachable by walking.

We are not done yet with all the things you can do while in the Gold Coast region; we cannot exhaust them actually. The locals love their sports with passion. From football, rugby or basketball, there never lacks a tournament or other at a location near Main Beach. Why not attend one and cheer the local teams of your favourite sport!
