Uluwatu – Redefining Holiday Destinations

Visitors are never dry at Indonesian airports as they seek to find the most exotic holiday destinations in this striking Asian country; and a good percentage of them would be looking for the quickest flight to Bali. This is one of the 33 provinces in Indonesia and it is home to a region that has been labeled as the perfect vacation spot in the country.

Welcome to Uluwatu, the gem of Indonesia. People decide to go for holidays for different reasons, but relaxing in a quiet atmosphere away from home or workplace is one of the main ones. This is what Uluwatu offers hence the thousands of visitors it receives each holiday season. Uluwatu falls in the Indonesian region that has the most of the country’s Hindu minority.

Most of the locals are members of Balinese Hinduism while a small fraction of the others practice Islam. The province of Bali happens to be the biggest tourist destination in the entire country and visitor numbers keep on surging each year. The beautiful weather of Uluwatu, spectacular surfing beaches and numerous other attractions have played a part in making the region be what it is today.

It is believed that the area was once inhabited by people from Taiwan’s Austronesian people around 2000 BC. It is the one destination that offers not just seaside activities alone but other amazing attractions as well, making it score highly.
