Why MOQ is important…

B2B are a super way of connecting buyers and wholesalers together across the globe. Due to the ease it provides, many retailers depend on the cyberspace to make wholesale purchases. Convenience and connectivity is also the other reasons why many retailers turn to the internet as it offers an opportunity to connect with manufacturers thus making their business grow without having to spend a lot as investment. Through these B2B platforms, sellers can maintain a positive presence by settling for the right kind of products only. When you make the right decision, it becomes easy to pave the way for a great relationship with the buyers.

Each product should have a good description and this can make or break it for you. It needs to be concise and clear, providing all the necessary information related to the product. Minimum Order Quantity Sharing or otherwise more commonly known as MOQ in the business world, plays a huge role in the playing field or rather the market they cater to. The most important thing to take into consideration is however pricing. As a wholesaler, keep in mind that you cannot offer unrealistically low prices as well as quote unreasonably high prices for a product too. When you work on a B2B platform you will realize that there is no such thing as a cheaper the better attitude as it is easy for a retailer to weigh the strengths and weaknesses of a seller before he chooses him. It is important to set a realistic price for the best results and this is why calculating MOQ is a really good idea as it lets you estimate and quote a price that you would be comfortable with. Not only would it be profitable but also a win-win situation for both parties. It is important to know that the higher the quantity a client orders from you, you will need to give him a good discount. When the product ordered is limited in terms of availability, some constraints will need to be applied to the MOQ product orders. They include specific minimum order quantity that applies to each purchase order, specified delivery lead-time and fixed price per unit, irrespective of the quantity that’s been ordered from you.
