Batemans Bay

The New South Wales region of Australia is one of the highly endowed regions in the country. Located about 280 kilometres from Sydney is Batemans Bay, a town and also a bay in New South Wales. It is situated in the South Coast of the state and its richness when it comes to tourist attractions cannot be matched.

One of the most popular attractions is kayaking. This is especially so during the warmer weather in the mountainous regions of the state. It is a 191 touring route that winds inland from the Pacific Highway. Along the route are National parks, scenic countryside and rainforests. Dorrigo National Park along the way is one such attraction that allows visitors to see the beautiful wildlife, waterfalls and the subtropical rain forests.

One can also visit the Aboriginal Bora Ring one of the Tribal Ceremonial Grounds in the area. These are very important to the Aboriginal community and it would be worth visiting. It is indeed true that Batemans Bay has lots of attractions for everyone.
